An Iranian Friday prayer leader has emphasized that the occupying Israeli regime has proved its hostility not only with the Palestinians in Gaza but to all Muslims across the globe.

Mamusta Molla Abbas Mahmoudi, the Friday prayer leader of Sunni community of Baneh County, in Iran’s Kurdistan province, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) referred to the ongoing Israeli war against the Palestinians in the besieged Gaza stressing the issue of Palestine as number one issue in the world of Islam.
 
He noted that the silence of the international community and the Islamic countries has emboldened the occupying regime to continue its crimes in the Gaza Strip.
 
He called the Gaza war and Palestine as number one issue in the world of Islam and said that the crimes in the besieged Strip are certainly committed with the green light of the western countries, namely the US.
 
Mamusta Mahmoudi warned that the continuation of crimes could spill over to the entire region and will mainly damage the Islamic countries.
 
The prayer leader of Baneh added,” Israeli regime has proved that it is not merely an enemy of the Palestinians rather it holds all Muslims as enemies.”
 
The Sunni scholar concluded that the philosophy of global Zionism is confronting and isolating Muslims; therefore, the current situation will continue as far as Muslims do not achieve unity.
