A senior Iranian cleric has hailed the slain Hamas leader, Yahya Sinwar, for his active participation in the battle field stressing that he boosted the morale among resistance fighters.
In an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA), Mamusta Senar Tamarnejad Molla Isa, the Friday prayer leader of Sunni community in Naqadeh, East Azerbaijan province, called Yahya Sinwar as a source of pride for the resistance axis and said the martyrdom of the Hamas leader reverberated in the world media.
He said the martyrdom of Sinwar foiled the Israeli media provocations that the resistance leaders use Palestinians as human shield
“The video of the Sinwar’s martyrdom revealed that the resistance leaders are standing in the first line to be sacrificed for their people” said the Iranian Sunni cleric and added,” This move by Yahya Sinwar revealed the resolution and honor of the resistance which became a source of pride.
He stressed,” It is not the matter of Shia and Sunni or the resistance movement in Palestine, Lebanon and Yemen but it is Islam that matters today.”
Mamusta Tamarnejad warned that the Israeli regime and the United States are only pursuing ways to uproot Islam; therefore, according to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, all Muslims are obliged to support the oppressed people in Palestine and Lebanon by all possible means.”
He slammed the rulers in the Arab and Islamic countries for ignoring the issue of Palestine and said,” The bloodshed of all these Palestinian women, children and men awakens any human being.”
