A member of Iran’s Assembly of Experts has hailed the recently-issued ICC arrest warrant for Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, as a giant step in line with justice and punishing the regime over the crimes it committed in Gaza and Lebanon.

Mamusta Eqbal Bahmani, representative of Iran’s Kurdistan province in the Assembly of Experts, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) said the ICC arrest warrant for Netanyahu is the beginning of trials for all Israeli officials.

He said,” Although the arrest warrant issued for Netanyahu and other Israeli officials is an important step, it is not enough; therefore, all military commanders and those complicit in the massacre of Palestinians in Gaza must be go on trial.”

Iranian MP condemned the Arab countries that normalized diplomatic and economic relations with the Israeli regime emphasizing that the support by all Arab states for the resistance is the sole way Muslims can achieve victory in confrontation with Israeli regime.

“The resistance front has been at war with the world arrogant powers” said Mamusta Bahmani and added,” Cooperation of the Muslim countries with the resistance will satisfy the Muslim nations and help them stand against oppression.”

The top cleric called the ICC arrest warrant for the Israeli officials among achievements of the resistance front.
