The immunity criminality of Zionism itself, which is more than just convenient tool, an ideology used to cover imperialist goals. This is a very essence of the Palestinian crisis and the reason why the solution to the Middle East issue is beyond the reach of the international debate, especially only with the participation of non-governmental organizations.

More than seven decades of Israeli occupation of the Palestinian lands, expansion of the regime’s illegal settlements in defiance of the international resolutions and also years of atrocities against Palestinians have set Israel as a synonym for apartheid, occupation and oppression.

Many experts believe that the impunity of the Israeli regime and of course the western support for the regime has emboldened it to continue with its flagrant violation of the international laws, aggression against Palestinian people and also occupation of their lands.

The reasons, however, must be sought in the western imperialist goals and the oligarchy which is dominating the current political domain across the globe. That is according to Konrad Rekas, the chairman of the Polish Yes4Freedom which advocates the political freedom and critical analysis of the country’s geopolitical stance.

Konrad Rękas, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA), elaborated on the Zionist ideology, its occupation of the Palestinian lands and also its dominance in the US political domain.

When asked on the role of the international powers in the ongoing Israeli occupation of Palestine, he said there are two main approaches among Western public opinion regarding the role of Israel, the first one, especially popular among leftist intellectuals, see Israel as a quasi-colony of the United States.

He called America as the driving force behind the Middle East conflicts with the Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other Israeli officials more like collaborators with the American military and industrial complex.

The second position much more popular in America, sees the United States themselves rather as a colony of Israel.

He called Zionism as a specific Israeli form of Nazism that has to be defeated on the battlefield and the territories it occupied must be returned to its historic inhabitants.

“Today, the attitudes of the main international actors towards Zionists differ significantly. Much more unequivocal, however, is the attitude of the nations themselves, making the matter clear”, he said stressing,” Zionism will meet the same end as Nazism in Hitler's bunker under the ruins of the Reich Chancellery.”

He hailed the popular actions and movements like Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) for their huge impact on the integrating public opinion in its opposition to Zionist crimes and the responses, the reaction of Western societies to the genocide in Gaza.

Rekas also highlighted the multi-hundred thousand marches for peace and for Palestine in London and other cities as the largest independent popular movements indicating a real awakening against war, racism and imperialism.

He referred to the limitations of the western involvement and said,” We are dealing with systemic crisis of liberal democracy, which is currently being extinguished as a form of political organization of states and societies” and added,” Oligarchies, which have always dominated Western politics, are now almost openly present.”


The Polish activist condemned the western governments for turning a blind eye on the popular demands for an end their active supports for the Israeli regime and its ongoing genocide in Gaza and said,” That confirms the futility of political assimilation of Muslims living in Europe, whose voices not cannot be heard within the framework of the current system, with the characteristic of practical apartheid.”

He also referred to a systematic censorship of the pro-Palestine voices and said,” All those suspected of sympathizing with the Palestinian cause are eliminated from the mainstream Western parties, and censorship prevails in the universities and in the media, including social media” demanding all opponents of Zionism or supporters of peace to organize themselves in order to be heard, to gain influence and control.

Rekas called the population of nearly 28 million Muslims across Europe and the UK as a “potentially powerful force, if only it stops allowing itself to be limited to the matter of migration or cultural issues” saying,” This is a force of potential go political change, completely reevaluating the Western strategy towards the Middle East, Asia and Africa.”

He said the “Zionists”, who arrived from overseas, should be relocated in New York, Miami or California and added,” Unless, of course, it's the Anglo Saxon who needs a foothold in the Middle East.”

He called the Palestinian people as hostages of foreign geopolitical interests and that justifying the Israeli occupation turns out to be all the more mendacious as the falsehoods are exposed.

He reiterated,” The Palestinian syndrome must be overtaken in one way or another and Palestine must be free.”
