The vocabulary of pilgrimage

TNA - Beirut

29 Oct 2011 - 16:56

The Hajj in Islam is a ritual worship, essential and obligatory for one who is able, it is an education that hold in its depth, consignment and Semitic targets, which effects on individuals and societies. The pilgrimage is a spiritual journey from the material world to the world of slavery to God, and for a person to commit to the commands of God as it is, even if he did not know the wisdom of this legislation. But with meditation, we can highlight some of the philosophy of provisions of it.
The wisdom of some of the vocabulary of pilgrimage, Sheikh Afif Nabulsi will reveal it for TNA in an exclusive interview:

Arafah

Of the most prominent pilgrimage is to stand in Arafat on the ninth of Zul-Hijjah from the meridian to sunset, due to the greatness of this position, the Hadith stated that "Hajj is Arafah,".
Arafah in Arabic language came from the knowledge "Ma'rifah" which is the aim of mankind creation. The knowledge of God and obey him is through knowledge of the true faith and by the required worship that close us to God. At day of Arafah, the Muslim remember the Judgement by the combined legions of people who are dressed in robes, so he will feel to return to God and resort to his mercy.
This is in addition to other benefits occurring from the relationship of Muslims among themselves and their cooperation in righteousness and piety, to achieve common interests among the people of the Islamic nation and to achieve economic benefits, commercial, and political benefits through meetings and consultations between the representatives of Muslim countries and leaders, and dialogues of people of knowledge and thought, on the most important scientific issues.
All of this, strengthen the union between Muslims and the bonds of unity among them to return this nation to its former days as one nation, protesting faith in God to realize the force of the nation and its ability to defend its existence and to achieve its goals.

Islamic Awakening

Arab revolutions proved that the spirit of pride and dignity are still boiling in the veins, and that the peoples of this nation refuse, humiliation and discrimination among its sons, but the harsh circumstances and the rulers of injustice was the cause of the destruction of our communities.
Peoples of our nation is waiting for the right opportunity and they need leadership to rise up against the Pharaohs of this the age and destroy their thrones.

Clerics who are the heirs of the prophets, must to be in the forefront and work to close ranks and unify the nation, to preserve the great victories achieved by its children of our Islami nation, and call to make the Islamic law as the constitution. We have to invest the pilgrimage season to hold meetings and conferences on how to invest these revolutions and victories, also to exchange views and experiences and work to raise awareness and demonstrate the importance of the unity of Muslims to achieve a great victory and apron on the enemy base and purge the land of Palestine and the first Muslim's "Qiblah" from the abomination of the Zionists and uphold the word of God on earth.

The role of Hajj  forums and seminars

There is no doubt that the seminars held during the pilgrimage season, contributed significantly to the convergence of the Muslims among them, and removed a lot of suspended sediment.
We hope that the World Assembly for Proximity, intensify the meetings to remove the remaining residue and barriers so that the Muslims live in love and united.
We need more seminars like this, especially in light of this vicious attack on the Sunni and Shiite Muslims by the West and Tkfirists, through their media and terrorist cells to destroy the unity of Muslims.
The World Assembly for Proximity hold a complex task of bringing serious and substantial in this area. It is on a duty for all Muslims to unite their efforts leave their differences and conflicts, in order to achieve the honor of this nation.
