Iranian MPs meet with Parliamentary deputy of prominent center for Islamic unity to stress potential capacities to expand culture of proximity in the country and discuss the issues of Sunni community.
Members of Iran Parliament in a meeting with Parliamentary Affairs Deputy at the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought to discuss the strategies for promoting the culture of Islamic proximity and more cooperation between academic fraction of Parliament and University of Islamic denominations, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
In this meeting, Alireza Monadi, Chairman of the Academic Fraction of Parliament and representative of Tabriz, Abed Fat’hi, Chairman of Sunni Fraction and representative of Urumiyeh, Hamed Qadermazi, Deputy of the Academic Fraction of Parliament and representative of Kurdistan Province and also Hujjat-ul-Islam Seyyed Mousa Mousavi, Deputy of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought discussed the possibilities and promoting more potentialities to develop the culture of Islamic unity.
Shabib Jouyjari, deputy of Parliamentary Affairs at the World Forum proposed continuation of these meetings and referring to high capacity of the Academic Fraction of Parliament and the University of Islamic Denominations, demanded more cooperation between the two centers.
In this meeting it was also proposed that meetings of Sunni Fraction of Iran Parliament and Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought be held to discuss more cooperation as well as domestic and international capacities of the two centers.
