Prominent Sunni prayer leader of Zahedan in Southeastern Province of Sistan and Balouchestan, met with new Iranian president elect.

Molavi Abdul Hamid Esmaeel Zehi, Sunni prayer leader of Zahedan met with Hassan Rouhani, Iran 11th president elect to congratulate the cleric for his victory in presidential election, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Renowned Sunni cleric and Shia president of the Islamic Republic of Iran discussed current issues of the country as well as regional and world issues, particularly Muslim world problems.

Mowlavi Abdul Hamid Esmaeel Zehi and Hassan Rouhani met at the Strategic Research Center of the Expediency Discernment Council of the System.

Molavi Abdul Hamid Esmaeel Zehi, is an outstanding Iranian Sunni cleric who is a member of World Assembly of Muslim Ulima (scholars), member of Fiq’h Assembly of Mecca and manager of Zahedan Dar Al Ulum Sunni seminary.
