Top member of Iran’s Qur’an Reading Foundation announced, led by Iranian people US Muslim citizens stand second to demand for joining whole Qur’an reading groups.
Akram Noshafagh, manager of public affairs at Iran’s Qur’an Reading Foundation said the people from across the world have extraordinarily welcomed the plan to read part of Qur’an and named Iran, US Brazil, UK and Canada as the leading countries calling to join Qur’an reading groups, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
According to Noshafagh those enthusiastic to participate in the plan are in three groups, firstly those who apply to read the first ten verses of Qur’an via internet or calling the foundation’s landline with the next applicants reading the next ten verses in turns so that the reading of whole book is finished in one day.
The applicants will continue reading the next ten verses by themselves till each individual reader finishes the whole book by himself in a period of 21 months while being part of a 623 rounds of finishing the whole book.
The second group involves those who apply to read one page of Qur’an each night till they finish the book in 20 months while being a part of 604 rounds of whole Qur’an reading.
The third group comprises Qur’an readers who apply to participate in the program only once so they read one to four sections of this holy book only for one round of finishing Qur’an.
An annual tradition in the Islamic Republic of Iran, the country holds international Qur’an exhibition to gather Muslims from across the world in a one month event concurrent with the fasting month of Ramadan.
Qur’an recitation competition, sideline conferences, Hijab exhibition and different art work galleries are among the different parts in this great event.
