A senior Iranian cleric referred to the important role of constitution for originality of Islamic societies stressing that this originality realizes only if the constitution is derived based on holy Qur’an and lifestyle of Prophet Mohammad (PBH).
Grand Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri, an advisor to the Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution in Muslim world affairs, attended conference on new sustained Islamic governments hailing Iran constitution to be based on Islam and a token for tendency of Iranian nation for applying Islam in all aspects of their lives, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He referred to the Islamic Revolution in Iran and said the only objective of the people was to perform the commandments of God Almighty in this Islamic country.
Ayatollah Taskhiri stressed that the revolution in Iran was a pure Islamic revolution and has never pursued economic or political objectives rather it aimed at performing the commandments of Holy Qur’an.
16th Royal Aal Al-Bayt Institute for Islamic Thought General Conference was held in Jordanian capital of Amman to discuss the concept of modern state as a paradigm for Muslim countries.
Thinkers from 33 countries, including Islamic Republic of Iran attend this conference to express their views on Islamic government, civil society, and rights of the people in Islamic and western viewpoints and also plan for sustained Islamic government.
