Iran’s Islamic unity center denounces recent Tripoli terror attacks saying that the bombings aim at waging sectarian rift and fueling civil war in Lebanon.
World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought issued a message to slam the bombing of a mosque in Tripoli, Lebanon, and said this terror attack has been done by the same hand that committed other crimes in Iraq, Syria and other Muslim countries, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Part of the statement issued by the World Forum runs,” Twin blasts that targeted Tripoli, and the other bombing in Southern Beirut, are aimed at igniting sectarian intrigues and fueling civil war in Lebanon.” And added,” There is no doubt that terrorists who commit these crimes are supported by the US, Zionist regime and some of their allies in the region.”
World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought called all Muslims to maintain their unity and focusing their efforts for resistance against intrigues of the arrogant powers and also hostile efforts by the Zionist regime.
It also demanded Muslims to prevent any measure that might aid terrorists to achieve their aims and fan the flames of religious war in Lebanon.
The statement concluded with prayers that peace and prosperity prevails in Islamic countries, particularly Syria and Lebanon and that Muslims unite to confront their Zionist enemies and their western allies.
