Ayatollah Mohsen Araki:

“Islamic identity is threatened by enemies.”

Top Iranian delegation of religious and cultural figures met with Turkish head of religious affairs warning that Islamic identity is threatened by the enemies.





Grand Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, met with Mehmet Gormez, Turkey’s President of Religious Affairs stressing that preventing the interference of enemies in the domestic affairs of Muslim countries is a preliminary step for protecting Islamic identity, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He noted that enemies are pursuing protecting the Zionist regime of Israel rather than following the interests of Muslims.

Iranian cleric highlighted importance of Islamic unity saying,” Muslims have to boost their unity so that peace and fraternity prevails the whole world of Islam.”

In this meeting, grand Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri, a senior advisor to the Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution and President of the Supreme Council at the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought reiterated the necessity of cooperation and unity in the world of Islam.

He also highlighted the importance of preventing disagreements and bloodshed in Islamic countries.

Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri heading a delegation of cultural officials as well as Shia and Sunni figures have recently visited Turkey.
