A member of Iran’s Assembly of Experts stressed the necessity of defending Syria noting that an American version of democracy pursues safeguarding the Zionist regime in the Middle East.

Hujjat-ol-Islam Ali Moallemi, member of Iran’s Assembly of Experts stressed that the US and Zionist regime’s aim behind Syria attack plan is to beat resistance, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He slammed America and Zionist regime as the main supporters of the terrorist groups in Syria saying these countries deployed terror groups by cooperation of some western and Arab countries.

Senior cleric said,” The issue of using chemical attack was only a pretext to attack Syria.”

He reiterated that interference of the US in the domestic affairs of other countries is a clear violation of international laws and added,” US has to notice that the era of bullying and dominance has come to an end now.”

Representative of Iranian Northern Province of Mazandaran said that the US ignoring international organizations like the United Nations and Security Council proves the lack of legal credit of these centers saying,” Americans should not expect other countries to be committed towards these organizations too.”

Friday prayer leader of Ghaemshahr, in Mazandaran Province referred to a possible US military attack to Syria and said the issue will certainly have irreparable outcomes for the Middle East region.
