Top Lebanese cleric highlighted the necessity of dialogue between Bahraini sides and noted saying that what is happening in Bahrain is not a religious or sectarian issue.
Hujjat-ol-Islam Seyyed Ali Fadhl Allah, Lebanese prayer leader, in a meeting with Hajj pilgrims from Bahrain in Mecca, praised the stance of Bahraini nation’s stance in defending different Islamic issues including Palestine, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He referred to Bahrain crisis and stated,” Contrary to what some media or political figures claim, what is going on in Bahrain does not have religious origins.”
Lebanese cleric called Bahrain government and the protesters to follow constructive talks to solve problems and challenges and reiterated importance of vigilance against disintegration of the Persian Gulf state.”
Stressing the need to follow civilized and peaceful methods to achieve legal rights for Bahrain nationals, Seyyed Ali Fadhl Allah said,” People in Bahrain demand freedom, honor and a descent life for all walks of life.”
