OIC Secretary General Condemns Terrorist Attack in Iran

The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, has condemned the recent deadly terrorist attack on Iranian border guards in Sistan and Balouchestan province which left 14 dead and wounded a few others.
While reiterating the principled OIC’s position condemning terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, the Secretary General called for the imperative to bring the perpetrators of this terrorist attack to justice. He further expressed his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims, the Government and people of Iran and prayed for the quick recovery of the wounded.
On October 26th 14 Iranian border guards lost their lives and three others were wounded in a terror attack on the border region near the city of Saravan in Iran’s southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan.
