Lebanon’s Head of Qolona wal-Amal (Our Words and Deeds) hailed the role of Resistance and stressed Islamic Resistance has brought us honor and descent.

Sheikh Ahmad al Qattan, prominent Lebanon Sunni cleric, attended the mourning ceremony of Imam Hussein (AS), third Shia Imam and grandson of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) held in Southern Lebanon and criticized the hands that target Resistance, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

He added,” Resistance has brought us honor, glory and victory and if it was not for resistance we would have not been in Southern Lebanon now.”

Lebanese Sunni cleric said,” Blessing of God Almighty and then Resistance brought us security and honor and prevented any military attack by the Zionist regime.”

He praised the influential role of Hezbollah Secretary General for the Resistance and noted no one could have more concerns for the country more than Seyyed Hassan Nasr Allah who sacrificed his dear son for Lebanon.

Lebanese cleric also slammed the intriguing stance of some domestic movements and stressed,” These parties are struggling against National and Islamic unity in Lebanon.”
