Iranian cleric attending conference on medicine and religion announced that 5’000 conventional medicine physicians have left modern medicine methods to implement Islamic medicine.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Mohammad Ali Mohammadi Yekta, secretary of conference on medicine and religion in the Iranian holy city of Qom referring to inadequacy of modern medicine and that a 5’000 number of Iranian physicians have left their methods to practice Islamic medicine methods, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He referred to an appalling number of cancer patients in Iran which is on an ascending order and compared that to the survey provided on the number of martyrs in Iraq war saying,” The study will highlight the serious threats of ignoring medicine.”
Hujjat-ul-Islam Mohammadi Yekta noted the inefficiency of modern medicine and noted,” It should be maintained that science does not keep an invariant look on the solution for diseases to the point that the same disease in two different time spans have been treated with different medications.”
Expert on Islamic medicine said,” Over 5’000 physicians have left chemical and modern medicines following studies on Islamic medicine” and added,” While western medicine methods believes that not all diseases can be cured, Islamic medication does not put an end on that and believes that in view of Islam there is eventually a cure for any ailment.”
Conference on medicine and religion was held in Najmeh Khatoun courtyard at the holy shrine of Hazrat Masoumeh (AS) in the holy city of Qom attended by medicine experts, physicians and also patients who have admitted to substitute modern medicine with Islamic methods.
