The supreme leader’s deputies has left Tehran for Medina to attend Saudi Shia leader Sheikh Al-Omari's funeral ceremony.
Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati and Hojjatol Islam Ahmad Marvi went to Saudi Arabia as the Supreme leader’s deputies to attend Saudi Shia leader Sheikh Al-Omari’s Funeral ceremony, according to Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
They have communicated Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei’s message on the loss of Saudi Arabia Shia leader, Sheikh Muhammad Ali Al-Omari.
Sheikh Muhammad Ali Al-Omari passed away last week on Monday Jan 24 in the National Medina hospital.
The Sheikh was the first Shai figure in Medina, who was named as the Shia Scholar Father among Arab nations.
Al-Omari suffered from hepatic lesions and passed away in Arbaeen at the age of 100.
