Ayatollah Mohammad Taqi Mesbah Yazdi, member of the Expediency Council praised late founder of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Rouhollah Khomeini as a man of God who obeyed God, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He also said that glory and the high status of Iran in the international arena is due to the assistance of God and the people's obedience to the leadership.
Iranian top cleric compared pre-revolution era to post-revolution time and said "Iran has had remarkable economic, social and cultural progress in a way that the arrogant powers cannot handle their problems without the mediation of the Islamic Republic of Iran."
" Iran has had such a great influence on the liberal nations of the world that many of South American countries coordinate their policies with that of Iran," he said.
"This blessing (Islamic Revolution) is the outcome of following Islam and the blood of the martyrs," said Iran's senior cleric and referred to those who suspect the divinity of the Islamic Revolution saying that," It is stressed in the holy Qur'an that victory belongs to God."
Ethics professor of Qom Seminary stressed the Islamic glory and counted realization and spread of Islamic law in society as the achievements of the Islamic Revolution.
