One of the Islamic Jurisprudent warns severely to those countries which sent their troops to assault protesters in Bahrain.
Ayatollah Lotfollah Safi Golpaygani warned Saudi Arabia and other Islamic countries which send their military forces to Bahrain, according to Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
"Islamic awakening and Muslims' movement against the arrogant world is one of the important events in the history," the grand Ayatollah said.
Saudi Arabia has dispatched some armoured vehicle and 1,000 forces to assist Bahrain government crack down democratic movement of Bahraini people after receiving a go ahead by Washington and London.
The senior cleric underlined, "This freedom movement initiated from Tunisia and reached to other countries such as Egypt, Yemen, Libya and Bahrain."
"Today the authorities of the U.S and other arrogant countries try to stand against the revolution of Bahrain and massacre protesters in this country," Ayatollah Lotfollah Safi Golpaygani underscored.
"We do not expect the government of the United Arab Emirates [to send military convoy to Bahrain], because the true nature of the government is quite clear for the world," the Grand Ayatollah said, " We address the government of Saudi Arabia and ask them "when you want to terminate cooperating with the arrogant countries such as the U.S and the UK and why you do not want to back to your Islamic independence."
