A valuable work by Seyyed Mohammad Baghir Hakim, "Islamic Unity in Qur'an and Sunnah" , translated by Abdul Hadi Feqhi Zadeh, is recently published.

The book is translated into Persian by Abdul Hadi Feqhi Zadeh and with a look on contemporary changes of the world, it analyzes Islamic unity from the viewpoint of the holy Qur'an and Sunnah (comprising habits or lifestyle of the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) set as an example for the Muslims), reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).

Several Qur'anic references and Islamic narrations are tokens for the command of the compiler on Islamic culture and his deep knowledge of the holy book of Islam and lifestyle of the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).

Through its preface and two chapters, major topics like Islamic unity from cultural and civilizational standpoints, importance of the Islamic unity, necessities for confrontation of Islam and the west, motivations for Islamic unity, grounds for Islamic unity , process of unity and separation in the Islamic nation, tools for realization of Islamic unity and several other topics are analyzed.

A major issue of Muslim nations is proximity of Islamic schools of thought, hence some other headings of the book include Proximity of Islamic schools of Thought, the most fundamental aim of proximity, knowing the reasons and tools of separation and also achieving proximity and solutions for proximity.
