Senior cleric, Ayatollah Lotfollah Safi Golpaygani in a message to King Abdullah Bin Abdul-Aziz recommended Saudi king to protect humanity and leave Bahrain territory immediately, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
"What heightens your status among people is your governing the Land of Revelation (Saudi Arabia's nickname among Muslims).
Medina, Mecca and other sacred and cultural spots are all supports for Muslim history," said the Iranian cleric and added that," Like 1.5 billion Muslims around the world I remind you of your heavy burden of responsibilities regarding your position."
He said," Same way that Kabaa (direction for Muslim prayer) belongs to all Muslims, you devote yourself for Muslims."
"It was disappointing for Muslims to see one particular religious school ruled their common worshipping place," the Ayatollah said.
In this message, he also expressed regret over interfering of western governments in political affairs of Muslim territory saying, "It is a pity that Muslims who have risen against America and his agents are subject to anger and invasion of Muslim governors."
"It is a big question for all Muslims to find Land of Revelation rulers (Saudi Arabia rulers) supporting strangers and deploy military forces to suffocate peaceful protests of Muslims and murder women and children," said the cleric while wondering, "It seems that Mr Abdullah has forgotten where he is deploying forces to and that he is aiding the oppressors against the oppressed."
Demanding Saudi king to pull out forces from Bahrain, Ayatollah Lotfollah Safi Golpaygani said,"Here we demand you to leave Bahrain to restore your credit and defend humanity."
The Ayatollah also asked him to apologize Muslims around the world over the incident.
