Top Iranian cleric has issued a condolatory message for Turkish top scholar, Mehmet Ghormez, member of the general assembly at the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought on loss of his mother.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, has sent a message to Mehmet Ghormez, Turkey’s former president of the Presidency of Religious Affairs to express condolences on loss of his mother, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Part of the message by Iranian cleric reads,” Certainly raising a wise and solicitous son as your Excellency, honestly endeavoring for materialization of the great objectives of Islamic unity, will remain a great spiritual contribution made by the late lady.”
 
Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari also extended his condolences for the bereaved family of Mehmet Ghormez.
 
Dr Mehmet Ghormez was appointed as Vice President of the Presidency of Religious Affairs in 2003 and as President of Religious Affairs in 2010. Top Turkish scholar is a member of the general assembly at Iran’s World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought led by Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari.
