Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi has arrived in the Iranian capital of Tehran for high level talks with Iranian officials on Tuesday.

Prime Minister al-Kadhimi arrived in Mehrabad Airport welcomed by Iran’s Minister of Energy, Reza Ardakanian.
 
Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani will officially welcome Iraqi senior official in a ceremony which will be held in Iran’s International Conference Center before the two sides begin talks.
 
Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi will also meet with Iran’s Parliament speaker, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf and secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, Ali Shamkhani.
 
Top Iraqi official will also meet with the Supreme Leader of Islamic Republic in his two-day visit to Tehran.
