World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought Secretary-General Hamid Shahriari visited Lebanon embassy in Tehran on Monday to offer condolences on the recent explosion at Beirut's main port.
During his visit, Hojjatoleslam Shahriari signed a memorial book commemorating at least 159 victims of the deadly blast.
Hojjatoleslam Shahriari had issued a condolence message to the Lebanese nation on Thursday.
The blast is widely seen as one of the worst industrial accidents in history, leaving over 6,000 people wounded.
