Huj. Shahriari offers condolences over loss of Ayatollah Taskhiri
Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has expressed condolences over passing of prominent cleric and director of the supreme councul at the center, Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari in his message hailed the late scholar as “heralder of Islamic unity” and the companion of late Imam Khomeini (RA) and Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He offered condolences to all proximit activists across the globe over passing of the prominent cleric.
The cleric also highlighted the religious and scholarly achievements by late Ayatollah Taskhiri and lauded his vast relations with renowned elites and intellectuals across Muslim world.
Secretary general of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought noted the effectual particicpation and contributions provided by Ayatollah Taskhiri both in Iran and the international arena.
He expressed regret over loss of the pioneer figure in Islamic proximity and herlader of convergence among all Muslims.
Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri aged 76 passed away due to heart disease on Tuesday. The late scholar served as advisor of the Supreme Leader in Muslim world affairs and chairman of the supreme council at World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought.
