Grand mufti of Aleppo has issued a message following the recent loss of top Iranian scholar, late Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri who passed away on Tuesday.
Sheikh Mahmoud Akkam, senior Syrian mufti from Aleppo has expressed sympathies over passing of Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri, advisor of the Supreme Leader in Muslim world affairs hailing the late scholar for having two principles of rationality and justice, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He called the senior Iranian cleric has an example of perfect man for having two principles of justice and rationality and hailed Ayatollah Taskhiri for leading a life full of humanity and growth.
Syrian scholar noted that the good deeds and reforms by late Ayatollah Taskhiri will inspire those in pursuit of Islamic civilization.
Member of Iran’s Assembly of Experts and advisor of the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei in Muslim world affairs passed away due to heart disease on Tuesday.
He is widely known for his contributions to promotion of Islamic unity and years of endeavor as former secretary general of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought.
