The memorial ceremony for top Iranian scholar and advisor of the Supreme Leader in Muslim world affairs was held in the Iranian holy city of Qom were the body of late cleric was laid to rest earlier on Thursday.
Bureau of the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamanei in collaboration with the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, Society of Teachers in Qom Seminaries held the memorial ceremony for Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri member of Assembly of expert who passed away due to heart disease on Tuesday, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, former secretary general of the major Islamic unity center, in this ceremony hailed the late scholar as expressive voice of Shia which translates for hard endeavors, sacrifice and promoting school of Ahlul Bayt (AS).
He lauded Ayatollah Taskhiri for his vast knowledge, eloquence, open-mindedness, kindness and unique expression in defense of Shia and Ahlul Bayt (AS).
Member of iran’s Assembly of Experts referred to perfect command of Ayatollah Taskhiri on contemporary Fiq’h as another capability of the late scholar and said,” His knowledge of Fiq’h contributed to a perfect explanation of Fiq’h in other Islamic denominations.”
He called Ayatollah Taskhiri as an effectual figure in explaining political Fiq’h and counted the book by the late cleric as a great scientific achievement.
Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri, aged 76, passed away due to heart disease on Tuesday. His body was laid to rest in the holy shrine of Hazrat Masoumeh (AS) on Thursday.
He was the advisor of Supreme Leader in Muslim world affairs and had spent over five decades of his life for promotion of Islamic teachings and Islamic unity.
