Memorial service for the late advisor of Supreme Leader in Muslim world affairs was held online on Friday evening.
An online memorial ceremony was held on Friday evening to mark the high character of the recently demised scholar and former secretary general of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Hujjat-ul-Islam Mohammad Mahdi Taskhiri, the late cleric’s brother and secretary general of Islamic culture and Relations Organization (ICRO) related on the endeavors, character and achievements of the late scholar.
He highlighted the loyalty and passionate view of Ayatollah Taskiri to Ahlul Bayt (AS), household of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and said,” The Islamic and cultural legacy of Ayatollah Taskhiri is the culture of Ahlul Bayt with which he challenges atheists and seculars.”
Iranian cleric also counted discipline to attend meetings and endeavors to launch institutes or make collective moves.
“He found dialogue as solution to major part of man’s problems” said Hujjat-ul-Islam Taskhiri and added,” The current injustice in the world is due to lack of dialogue.”
Secretary general of Iran’s Islamic Culture and Relations Organizations also highlighted endeavors of the late scholar to lead Muslims towards their commonalities.
He expressed hope that the ethics of Ayatollah Taskhiri to be set as role model for all.
Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri (1944-2020) had served in several top positions in Iran. He was advisor of the Supreme Leader In Muslim world affairs and member of the Assembly of Experts.
The late scholar was globally popular due to a life of struggles to promote solidarity among Muslims and expanding Islamic teachings across globe.
