Secretary general of Turkey's Felicity Party Temel Karamollaoglu has released a message to Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari extending condolences over passing of top proximity figure Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri.

Turkish political figure Karamollaoglu in his condolence message addressed to secretary general of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought referred to late Ayatollah Taskhiri as a great harbinger of proximity and Islamic unity.
 
Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri, was the advisor of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei in Muslim world affairs and member of Iran's Assembly of Experts.
 
The late scholar was globally known for his efforts to promote solidarity among different Islamic denominations.
 
Ayatoolah Taskhiri, aged 76, passed away in a hospital in Tehran following five decades of expanding Islamic teachings across the globe.
