When facing a series of unilateral, structured assaults against Islamic values, Muslims should array in a unified front to defend the Islamic sanctities, namely the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) and holy Qur'an.
Msoud Akhavan Fard, international law expert stressed Muslims should go beyond merely issuing statements in condemnation of sacrilegious measures against the holy Qur'an and Prophet of Islam, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Former director of mobilization of Iranian lawyers condemned claimants of civilization in Europe for reprinting of disrespectful cartoons of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) in French weekly Charlie Hebdo and burning a copy of Qur'an in Sweden.
He said," From one point of view this move can be part of organized measures in line with the present controversial issues much pursued by the US and Israeli regime for the so-called deal of century and normalization of ties with Tel Aviv" calling that formation of an all-out movement against Islamic values in the international arena.
Iranian law expert stressed that Muslims should go beyond merely condemnation or issuing statements against these assaults and said," We should invite the intellectuals from across the world and maintain an active global diplomacy to discuss Islamic values in reaction against these assaults."
He also related on a global consensus of Islamic countries to react against desecration of Islamic sanctities and said," We are in need of a mighty diplomacy to challenge the countries claiming to follow freedom of speech. How is it that such a world cannot tolerate high ideologies of Islam and Prophet Mohammad (PBUH)?"
According to Msoud Akhavan Fard the least measure against desecration of Islamic sanctities is to lodge complaint against those disrespecting Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and holy Qur'an in the international tribunals.
He also counted the regional organizations with Muslim member states and human rights bodies to defend Islam same way it advocates other religions.
