"Icon of Resolution, A Glance at the Life, Thoughts and Characteristics of Ayatollah Taskhiri", book on the life and endeavors of top Shia cleric and advisor of the Supreme Leader, late Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri, was unveiled on the sideline of memorial service held in Tehran for 40th day after demise of the scholar on Tuesday.
Webinar to mark the high character and endeavors of Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri, former secretary general of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought is held at the Organization of Culture and Islamic Relations in the Iranian capital of Tehran on the sideline of which the book "Icon of Resolution, A Glance at the Life, Thoughts and Characteristics of Ayatollah Taskhiri" on the life of the late cleric was also unveiled, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Prominent religious and cultural figures naming Abouzar Ebrahimi Torkaman, head of the Organization of Culture and Islamic Relations, Gholamali Haddad Adel, head of Sa'adi Foundation and Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought attended the ceremony.
The memorial service was also attended by renowned intellectuals from Lebanon and Iraq who gave online speeches on late Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri.
Arabic, English and Persian version of the periodical "Echo" on late Ayatollah Taskhiri were also unveiled in this ceremony to shed more light on the character and life of the Islamic unity figure.
The video conference and socially-distanced meeting on the efforts and thoughts of Ayatollah Taskhiri was held in the Iranian capital on the eve of the 40th day after demise of the senior scholar.
Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri (1944-2020), advisor of the Supreme Leader and former secretary general of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought passed away due to heart disease following more than five decades of efforts to promote solidarity among different Islamic denominations.
