Senior Lebanese scholar, Sheikh Mahir Hamoud, praised Iran's late advisor of the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri, as a reminder for necessity of interaction and proximity among Muslim nation.
Head of World Union of Muslim Scholars, in an online speech in a webinar on the life and character of Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri highlighted the view of late Iranian scholar on division as plot of the enemies, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He said," The character of Ayatollah Taskhiri reminds us of necessity of cooperation and proximity with the Muslim nation."
Lebanese cleric in his remarks on the 40th day after demise of top Iranian cleric stressed importance of maintaining Islamic solidarity on stances, proximity of hearts and the general view on Islamic affairs.
Sheikh Mahir Hamoud praised the late advisor of Supreme Leader in Muslim world affairs for the several trips he made for promoting Islamic teachings and unity.
The cleric made the comments in a webinar held on the 40th day after passing of Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri, former secretary general of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thoughts.
Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri (1944-2020) passed away due to heart disease in a hospital in Tehran on August 18. His body laid to rest at the holy shrine of Hazrat Masoumeh in Qom.
