Regarding the Zionist-led Islamophobia campaign in the west, unity among Muslims seems to be the most vital and world Muslim countries should establish a “unified front”, a firm block against Zionism and world arrogant powers.
World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has issued the final statement of the 34th Islamic Unity Conference which was virtually held on October 29th- 3rd November following several online meeting of Muslim elites and intellectuals from across the globe discussing “Islamic Cooperation in Face of Calamities and Disasters”, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
The final statement of the conference in its first paragraph referred to the opportunities the coronavirus pandemic has brought to the world.
It stressed importance of poverty and inequality across the globe particularly in less privileged countries necessitating more attention of the international organizations, intellectuals and elites.
According to the final statement the pandemic has once again revealed the incapability of world arrogant powers in managing the crisis and added” To use the world experiences and proposal of initiatives by Muslim countries is the most important steps to get over the issue.
Participants in virtual meetings of the 34th Islamic Unity Conference also proposed a meeting of health ministries of Muslim countries in order to make the utmost of capabilities and public cooperation to combat the disease.
It referred to the different economic, political, social and cultural relations among countries have been subject to changes due to the pandemic infection thought high teachings of Islam can leave the most positive results and promote cooperation among these countries.
Participants in the meeting expressed regret over some Islamic states in normalization of ties with Israel and stressed the issue of Palestine as number one concern for world Muslims and highlighted the so-called deal of century is doomed to failure.
Muslim elites also hailed the initiation of the secretary general of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought in establishment of “Islamic Union” and stressed necessity of such unions for materialization of unified Islamic nation.
