Iran’s World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has condoled with Sudanese government and nation over passing of former prime minister, Sadiq al-Mahdi.
Top Islamic unity body in Iran has issued a condolatory message following the passing of Sadiq al-Mahdi calling the late official as a great scholar spending his life on ideological, cultural and political leadership of his nation, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
The message by Iran’s World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought called the passing of late Sadiq al-Mahdi as a great loss for the entire world of Islam.
Late Sadiq al-Mahdi had based his stance on no to normalization with Israel, no to submission and no to failure.
Part of the message by WFPIST stressed,” Rejection of normalization with Israeli regime and strengthening the resistance was apparent in all stances taken by the late figure.”
Head of the National Umma Party, Sadiq al-Mahdi, aged 84 passed away due to the new coronavirus on November 2020.
