Iranian doctors issue congratulatory message on Nurses Day

Foundation of Muslim Doctors without Border has issued a message on National Nurses Day in Iran to hail the efforts of nurses since the outbreak of COVID-19.


Concurrent with the birth anniversary of Hazrat Zeinab (AS) also known as National Nurses Day in Iran, Foundation of Muslim Doctors without Border has issued a congratulatory message calling the "nameless strugglers and frontliners who alleviate the pains and struck hope in hearts of patients", reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Iranian doctors in their message highlighted the status of nursing in Islamic culture and wrote," Certainly the sacrifice made by the nursing community amid the toughest days of coronavirus outbreak is inspired by the school of Imam Hussein (AS) and will be awarded by the Almighty God."
 
It called nurses as "nameless strugglers and frontliners who alleviate the pains and struck hope in hearts of patients" and lauded their endeavors amid the pandemic infection since last year.
 
Foundation of Muslim Doctors without Border is an Iranian NGO sponsored by Ahlul Bayt (AS) World Assembly and directed by Mohammad Hussein Niknam.
 
The charity foundation has provided services in underprivileged Shia-inhibited areas and made contributions to those afflicted by catastrophe or war in Syria, Iraq, Myanmar and Yemen.
 
Birth anniversary of Hazrat Zeinab (AS), sister of the third Shia Imam and granddaughter of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) is marked as National Nurses Day in Iran as the lady played an exemplary role in taking care of the minors and those wounded in the Battle of Karbala back in 680 AD.
