Bahraini regime has reportedly begun revival of an old Jewish synagogue in the capital Manama following normalization of relations with Israeli.
Roi Kais, Israeli correspondent has revealed in a note that an old Synagogue in the Bahraini capital will go under reconstruction as a welcome for Israeli tourists in line with the normalization deal signed between the Arab state and Israeli regime, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
This is while Al Kalifa has destroyed 38 Shia mosques in 2011 the majority of worshippers lived in the Persian Gulf Arab state.
Shia mosques had all been razed down by Saudi-backed Bahraini security forces.
Mahmoud Sharif Basyouni from Bahrain Independent Commission of Inquiry has urged for reopening of the mosques, a request which has not been accepted by Al Kalifa regime.
Al Kalifa regime had previously announced that it will construct the mosque in a new location though the Shia community had rejected the proposal and continued holding its communal prayers at the site of the destroyed mosques.
