Imam Ali (AS), first Shia Imam and cousin of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) is one of the most pious people and exemplary father in Muslim world.

Molavi Hashem Vahidian, professor at Ahmadiah Sunni seminary, Torbat-e-Jam city in Razavi Khorasan, praised the exemplary behavior of Imam Ali (AS) on the eve of the birth anniversary of the first Shia Imam, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He quoted Sunni reference calling Imam Ali (AS) as the most pious man after the prophets.
 
The cleric also hailed the first Shia Imam for long hours of worshipping the Almighty God and leaving the material interests of the world.
 
Molavi Vahidian quoted another Sunni reference on brevity and sacrifices made by Imam Ali (AS) expressing hope that all Muslims set the first Shia Imam as a perfect example of behaving with their families.
 
Iranian Sunni scholar made the comments on the birth anniversary of Imam Ali (AS) marked by Muslims, particularly Shia community on 13 Rajab (seventh month in Muslim lunar calendar).
