Iranian Foreign Minister has hailed late Hussein Sheikh-ul-Islam on the first passing anniversary of the Islamic proximity activist for contributing his entire life on the resistance movement in Palestine, Lebanon and Syria.
Mohammad Javad Zarif made the comments in his speech at the webinar held on the first passing anniversary of Hussein Sheikh-ul-Islam, hailing the late diplomat for spending his entire life for promoting objectives of the resistance movement, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Iranian top official called Hussein Sheikh-ul-Islam as a loyal supporter of the resistance who constantly endeavored for liberation of holy Quds from the grip of Zionist regime of Israel.
He also lauded the webinar jointly held by Iran's cultural attaché in Lebanon and Lebanon's Action Party stressing that such webinars boost cooperation and solidarity among the pro-resistance countries.
"He maintained the Islamic Revolution as a global phenomenon and a movement including the entire Muslim world" said Iranian Foreign Minister.
Late Hussein Sheikh-ul-Islam had served as Iran's ambassador to Syria, advisor of the Foreign Ministry and a Member of Parliament.
The former diplomat, aged 68, lost his life on March 5 due to the new coronavirus.
