Secretary General of Iran’s World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought slammed some Arab states for cooperation with the Israeli regime as treachery and said a system based on oppression is not everlasting.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari attended the meeting held ahead of the International Quds Day held in Imam Sadiq (AS) on Thursday and stressed importance of marking the Quds Day more than ever, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He highlighted importance of al-Quds Day amid the present situation and said,” The outbreak of Islamic Revolution in Iran severed one of the supporting hands to the illegal Israeli regime.”
Hujjat-ul-Islam Shahriari noted the motto of resistance against arrogant powers, derived from the holy Qur’an, as the inspiration which led to establishment of the Islamic resistance and said,” Iranians, following the victory of Islamic Revolution and building a spirit of resistance, showed that firm belief would overcome the domineering regime of Israel.”
He referred to the 33 day war back in 2006 when Lebanon’s Hezbollah targeted the splendor of illegal Israeli regime.
Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought referred to the cultural axis saying,” Israeli regime has spared no immoral measure from infanticide to looting and massacre of the civilians” adding,” In the cultural field what the Israeli regime has been propagating in western Asia is war and even Takfiri groups established by some religious and extremist groups have been a plot by this regime.”
Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, Salah al-Zawawi, Palestinian ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Iran, Nasser Abu Sharif, representative of Islamic Jihad Movement, Ibrahim Mohammad al-Deilami, Yemeni ambassador to Tehran and Seyyed Abdullah Saffi eddin, representative of Lebanon’s Hezbollah in Iran were among the participants to this meeting.
