In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
Surely we are Allah’s and to Him we shall surely return
The demise of the committed thinker and unique figure “Dr. Mumtaz Ahmad Khan”, the founder of “Al-Amin” educational centers and institutions in India caused deep sorrow and grief.
His effective and fundamental educational, cultural and intellectual activities for Muslims all over India and the training of committed professionals for more than half a century with the establishment of more than 250 universities and colleges under the title “Comprehensive Educational Al-Amin”, publication of “Salar” magazine which is one of the most widely circulated publications in Urdu language throughout India, are some of the enduring services of the late scholar, who can be a role model for the youth of the subcontinent.
The scientific and cultural advancement of the Muslims of India was his constant concern and he carried out continuous and comprehensive jihad to achieve this goal. It included the establishment of a great scientific movement in various fields of medicine, pharmacy, humanities, architecture, law and education. Thousands of experts in various fields of science have given him the nickname “Father of Education”. He always praised Imam Khomeini and was a supporter of the Islamic Revolution of Iran.
I offer my condolences to the scholars of the Islamic world, and to the cultural, scientific and honorable Muslim community of India, especially “Dr.B.M.Zakir”, and I ask Allah the Almighty the highest ranks and status and companionship with the Holy Prophet of Islam (SAW) for the late scholar, and I ask patience and reward for all the honorable survivors.
