Germany's Health Minister announced programs for carrying out COVID-19 vaccination programs in shopping centers and worshipping places including mosques.
German government has scheduled to vaccinate at least 80 percent of the people in a program which will turn public places including mosques and churches to vaccination centers, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
Jens Spahn, the Federal Health Minister stressed for acceleration of vaccination against coronavirus in a bid to prevent the new peak of the pandemic infection.
According to Jens Spahn the government will supply the vaccination centers with five million doses of vaccines in early July as Moderna has pledged to provide twice the doses it had previously promised.
German Health Minister announced the government has programs to encourage those still hesitant for vaccination to receive the jab in city centers, churches and mosques.
The Robert Koch Institute public health agency reported that over a third of the population in this country has completed their vaccination while 53 percent of the entire nation has received their first dose of their vaccine.
