Senior Friday prayer leader stressed affection and respect of the Sunni community in Iran for Imam Reza (AS) and noted Ahlul Bayt (AS), household of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) as the factor unifying the Shias and Sunnis in Iran.

Akhoond Aman Yazdani, Friday prayer leader of Masjid al-Nabi Mosque in North Khorasan province hailed the eighth Shia Imam as a great scholar in constant pursuit of promoting Islam, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He referred to respect and loyalty to Ahlul Bayt (AS) as a shared point between the Shia and Sunni and hailed the massive number of Sunni Muslims performing pilgrimage to the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) in the northeastern city of Mashhad.
 
The Sunni cleric noted that to move in line with teachings of Ahlul Bayt (AS) and Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) a solution for issues challenging Muslims.
