The watchdog of major Egyptian university al Azhar has issued a statement to hail the Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau for his visit to Hamilton mosque on Eid al-Adha.

Al-Azhar University in its recent statement praised the visit by Canadian Prime Minister to the mosque in Hamilton Ontario and condemnation of the latest hate crime against Muslim women, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
Part of the statement by al-Azhar reads,” This visit stands for the special endeavors of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on the issues and conditions of Muslims in Canada.”
 
This is while Canadian Prime Minister attended the first national convention on confrontation with Islamophobia virtually held on July 22.
 
Justin Trudeau vowed that his administration will stand committed to supporting Muslims and confronting Islamophobia.
