Taliban militants have reportedly entered the Afghan capital Kabul sending a delegation to the presidential palace for discussing transfer of powe.
This is while Afghan President Ashraf Ghani has reportedly left the country and abul Airport is besieged by Taliban forces and all flights are suspended.
Taliban international media spokesman Suhail Shaheen announced the militant group has promised peaceful transition of power within the next few days.
The militant group has also vowed that the properties and lives of the people will be saf.
Although he had stressed that the leader of the militant group has instructed the members not to enter the capital, footages show that the group has entered the city.
According to reports the Taliban and Afghan government officials are discussing a peaceful transfer of power.
