Islamic Republic of Iran is considering plans to accommodate Afghan refugees fleeing their country following the take over of Taliban militant group in three provinces near the eastern border.
The decision has come as the Taliban militant group has made more advancement in the country taking over the capital Kabul on Sunday.
A large number of Afghan refugees are expected to flee their country taking refugee in the neighboring countries.
Hussein Qassemi, director-general of border affairs at Iran’s Interior Ministry said on Sunday that temporary accomodation has been prepared for the Afghan refugees in three Iranian provinces of Razavi Khorasan , South Khorasan and Sistan and Baluchistan.
Afghan President Ashraf Ghani has left the country following the entrance of the militant group to the capital Kabul.
