Iran has received 1.11 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine as the country’s Red Crescent Sociaty announced delivering the vaccines to the Health Ministry.
The imported vaccines are the second of the importend consignment arrived in the country in the past week.
Iran has accelared the import and injection of the vaccines amid the reports on increase of the infection cases in the country.
Karim Hemmati, IRCS president said that the society is doing its best and that it will stand by the Iranian people and the medical teams amid the touhg days of the pandemic infection.
Iran has successfully tested some domestically-produced COVID-19 vaccines and also imported several consignment of vaccine from other countries.
