Iran’s President Ebrahim Raeisi held the first meeting with his cabinet members following a visit to the mausoleum of the late founder of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khomeini on Thursday morning counting the most important issues on his agenda.
President Ebrahim Raeisi held the meeting a day after after the Parliament approved all but one of his nominees in its Wednesday meeting.
He vowed that his cabinet will make the best to resolve the problems and provide the condition that Iranian people deserve.
He also made pledges for acceleration of the vaccination against COVID-19 and also domestic manufacturing of the vaccine as well as importing vaccine from other countries.
President Raeisi called on his cabinet to step up efforts for an anti-corruption campaign.
He announced a meeting of his new cabinet with the Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei, on Saturday.
The new cabinet members and President Ebrahim Raeisi read out a declaration vowing full commitment to the pledges made during the presidential campaign.
