Head of the Arab union of electronic media in Yemen highlighted the importance of Islamic conferences in boosting fraternity among Muslims warning of disputes as the ground for war and bloodshed in the world of Islam.
Hisham abdul Qader, Yemeni media activist, in an interview with Taqrib News Agency (TNA) noted the key role of Islamic conferences in boosting fraternal ties among Muslims.
"Dispute and discrimination among Muslims will eventually lead to war, death and failure" he said and added," This is while unity translates to survival be it in religious or in personal life."
He noted that people can achieve highest understanding of the world in the light of peace.
Head of Yemen's Arab union of electronic media noted that there is no deprivation or omission rather than oppression, poverty and the death imposed on Muslim nations.
He enumerated commonality of Muslims from all denominations naming the five Islamic principles, prayers, fasting and Hajj among other shared by all and said," Islam is the religion of monotheism of forgiveness."
Hisham Abdul Qader called holy Qur'an, Qibla (praying direction) and the five principles as secure factors to unite Muslims.
Yemeni cultural figure praised the Supreme Leader of Islamic Republic and Iranian government and nation for convening Muslims figures in annual Islamic Unity Conference.
35th Islamic Unity Conference will be held by World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought on 19-24 October 2021.
The upcoming event will be held on the theme of "Islamic Unity; Peace and Prevention of Dispute and Division in the World of Islam."
