Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought denounced the world arrogant powers for constant endeavor to spark war in the Middle East region in order to justify its presence and loot the Islamic countries.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid Shahriari, attending the opening ceremony of 35th International Islamic Unity Conference expressed regret over the bloodshed and war in the world of Islam stressing that as the reason for naming the annual event for 2021 as "Peace and Avoidance of Division and Conflict in the World of Islam", reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
He counted the issues challenging the world of Islam as: servile rulers who have provided the grounds for presence of oppressors in the Islamic countries to facilitate normalization of relations with Muslim states and vast disputes in denominational beliefs.
The cleric also warned of betrayal by followers of some denominations who spread violence, lack of democratic theocracy, tribal and sectarian views, pursuit of prejudice, aggressive groups and parties in some Islamic countries and also promoting misconceptions in order to guarantee political interests among other predicaments for the world of Islam.
Secretary General of World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought enumerated his proposals for the issues challenging Muslim world as: resistance against the world by creating strong state and economic system to stand against arrogant powers and ending dependence upon oppressive governments.
Among his other proposals were maintaining the framework for disagreement among Islamic denominations, revealing the measures by arrogant powers and pursuit of rights of the Muslim nations, elimination of sectarianism and also healthy rivalry.
Hujjat-ul-Islam Hamid SHahriari made the comments in his speech at the opening ceremony of the 35th International Islamic Unity Conference.
Over 500 Muslim scholars, intellectuals and religious figures are attending the 35th edition of Islamic Unity Conference which is held virtually due to COVID-19 circumstances. World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has decided to hold the 35th event on the theme of "Islamic Unity, Peace and Avoidance of Division and Conflict in the World of Islam."
World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has scheduled the 35th edition of the Islamic Unity Conference for October 19-24 ending with the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) also known as the Islamic Unity Week.
