Senior Iranian Sunni cleric has called on Muslims to unite around the holy Qur'an and guidelines of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and follow the same path in order to achieve unified ummah.

Sheikh Abdul Aziz Afraz, Friday prayer leader of the Sunni community in Sirik County, Iran's southern Province of Hormozgan, highlighted the role of every individual in the Islamic nation to confront the issues challenging Muslim ummah calling unity as a precious achievement for the nation, reported Taqrib News Agency (TNA).
 
He said," Islamic ummah (nation) should gather based on the holy book of Islam, guidelines of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and practice the commands of Almighty God to follow the same path so that a unified Islamic nation is formed."
 
Iranian Sunni cleric called proximity as a precious achievement for the Islamic nation which should be safeguarded in any possible way and said," Boosting solidarity among Muslims will flourish the capacities and hire that in line with growth in the Islamic nations.
